AROUND ABOUT
THE MAN
Larry Emerson's nature-based photography is grounded in a profound personal understanding of healing spaces. After being severely wounded, and receiving two Purple Hearts in Vietnam, Larry spent nearly fourteen months in hospitals.
His time living within clinical environments for an extended period of time shaped his lifelong awareness of how surroundings influence recovery, resilience, and emotional well-being. Larry knows firsthand how sterile or uninspired spaces can weigh on patients. But he also knows how thoughtfully chosen imagery can
offer moments of relief, hope, and quiet strength.
THE VISION
Larry wants to make a difference.
His time living in hospitals, raw talent,
and specialization in mural-sized imagery make him one of the top artists in the country for producing biophilic images tailored for healthcare and hospitality.
His goal is to fill sterile settings with uplifting imagery that have a positive affect on anyone living in, working, or visiting these spaces.
The proof is in the science.
Nature-based design does more than fill space; it actively supports healing, enhances well-being, and reinforces the idea that environments designed with intention can play a meaningful role in human health and happiness.
